Bill O’Reilly Is No Witch-Hater
Bill O’ Reilly is no witch hater. While O'Reilly has milked the Helen Thomas as witch like thing, pretty well--recently stressing his unscientific poll that 93% of his viewers (50% of whom, he also likes to stress for his millions of viewers, are Democrats or Independents) said his remarks/joke concerning her witch-like traits/mannerisms required no apology. Only 7% of the 80,000 respondents said he should apologize to her.
We know his comments about the hag (essentially an older woman well-past her bloom) were not those of a witch-hater because of his interview with Hillary Clinton during which they both had a jolly good time--both have said so publically more than once. Even fast-approaching-hag-status, Whoopi Goldberg (I wonder what she thinks of Wicca?), was forced, just yesterday, to admit that her false charges that O’Reilly treated Bill Clinton’s now lost, but once, flame-creating, soul-mate and now Secretary of State, Hillary (think of that well-practiced pair stirring boiling, bubbling, poison-filled cauldrons) with fairness during her, out-of-desperation, appearance on his show. This fairness and, let it be added, courtesy (who knows about respect?), would not have been possible if Bill O’ Reilly was a witch hater. He is not--so Helen can relax. No apology is needed.
